Description
Originally built in the 1800's as a stable this pleasant cottage has since been converted to offer accommodation for groups of up to four people.
All the accommodation is laid out over a single level and the living area has been designed in an open-plan style. It retains a lot of its original charm through features such as open roof trusses and a wood-burning stove. In addition to the stove there are convection heaters and night storage-heaters to ensure that you can get the best of what the region has to offer at any time of year. For hazy, summer evenings the rear garden has barbeque facilities.

Fuel, power and initial supply of logs inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available. Off road parking for 2 cars. Rear courtyard and lawned garden with garden furniture and BBQ. Small paddock, home to owners' Jacob sheep. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops, pubs and restaurant 10 mins walk. |

Alnwick Castle, dubbed the “Windsor of the North” boasts an impressive renaissance interior containing a wonderful art collection, as well as stunning gardens. The castle at Warkworth is also very well-preserved, while Bamburgh Castle, the seat of the old Kings of Northumbria, has a fantastic location right on the seashore. Don’t miss a trip to Lindisfarne, birthplace of English Christianity, or to Hadrian’s Wall, which runs through the county. And for great shopping and nightlife, and a unique atmosphere, head to Newcastle.
